Work Zone Safety

 

Zooming past a CPS Energy work zone is never cool. Our men and women work hard every day to bring you reliable natural gas and electric service. Please drive slowly and pay attention in our work zones.

At CPS Energy, employee safety is a top priority. We want to ensure that our employees always feel safe in their work environment. Here are some helpful safety tips when driving near a CPS Energy work area.

  • Please slow down near work zones. Be mindful of our employees. We want them to return home to their families without harm.

  • Safety Matters. CPS Energy employees work safely for our community. We ask that our community drive safely so they can focus on their work.

  • Be aware of construction signage and local laws. Our crews will have street signs at construction sites to indicate to drivers that they are entering a work zone.

  • Safety is everyone’s responsibility! Please, be mindful of construction efforts.
